 Sulfur foam treatment methods are molten sulfur kettle method, centrifuge method and filter press method.

 12) Molten Sulfur Kettle Process for Mature Sulfur Production  The molten sulfur kettle method utilizes elemental sulfur in120 ­°CThe chemical properties of the molten state can be achieved from left to right. The sulfur foam is beaten into the sulfur melting kettle, and indirect steam heating is used to melt the sulfur and separate the sulfur from the clear liquid. When the top pressure of the sulfur melting kettle is high, the clear liquid is discharged from the top to the clear liquid tank. After cooling, it returns to the desulfurization system and feeds repeatedly.23When there is basically no clear liquid in the sulfur melting kettle, it is further heated and melted, and the molten sulfur at the bottom is put into the collection device, and naturally cooled to normal temperature before being transported out. The advantage of this method is that the sulfur paste has low water content, in.5% below, can be sold as a cooked sulfur product. However, when molten sulfur is collected, cooled and discharged, a large amount of ammonia-containing waste gas will be emitted, which will seriously pollute the atmosphere and surrounding environment and cause serious equipment corrosion. Sulfur foam at room temperature is heated by steam, and the clear liquid must be cooled to room temperature, wasting a large amount of steam and part of cooling water. The suspended sulfur particles contained in the clear liquid returned to the system have been heated to mature sulfur particles, and sulfur foam cannot be formed in the regeneration tower, very easy to block the equipment and the tower packing.

 22) Centrifuge Process for Producing Sulfur  The centrifuge method uses the density of suspended sulfur and clear liquid in sulfur foam to separate the clear liquid and suspended sulfur in the centrifuge. The specific principle is as follows: the sulfur foam containing suspended sulfur is directly pumped into the rotating drum of the separator through the rotating hollow shaft by the raw material population. After the rotating drum rotates, due to the high density of suspended sulfur, the centrifugal force forces the suspended sulfur to deposit rapidly in the drum, while the clear liquid with light density stays in the central part of the drum. The approximately solid sulfur paste deposited on the inner wall of the drum is scraped off by the spiral scraper in the drum and transported to the sulfur paste slag discharge port for discharge. The clear liquid is controlled by the support baffle at the other end of the centrifuge, and is discharged from the overflow port and returned to the desulfurization system. The operation of the machine body, that is, the rotating cylinder, is driven by the main motor, and the operation of the spiral scraper is driven by the differential motor. The purpose of adjusting the water content of the sulfur paste can be achieved by adjusting the differential speed and the overflow baffle. The method of treating sulfur foam by centrifuge has the advantages of continuous operation, environmental protection and no pollution. The disadvantage is that the sulfur paste contains water in30More than%, if the water content decreases, it is easy to block the blanking port, and then the centrifuge needs to be overhauled and cleared after the casing is blocked.

 32) Sulfur production process by filter press method   The filter press method and the centrifuge method use the different physical properties of the liquid and sulfur particles in the sulfur foam to achieve the purpose of separation. The difference is that the centrifuge uses the density difference, and the filter press method uses the filtration principle, that is, the use of porous media that allows liquid to pass through and retain solid particles.(Such as filter cloth)The solid and liquid in the sulfur foam are separated. The driving force that drives the liquid through the porous medium has gravity, pressure and centrifugal force. The filter press method is the method of using external pressure to complete the filtration. Suspended sulfur particles accumulate between the two filter cloths, and the clean liquid enters the clear liquid pipe through the filter cloth and returns to the desulfurization system. The moisture content of the sulfur paste and the suspended sulfur content of the clear liquid are only affected by the external pressure and the pore size of the filter cloth. Sulfur foam is directly pumped by the raw material person. The mouth is fed into the filter press, and the pressure of the pump head of the raw material pump can make the clear liquid and suspended sulfur in the sulfur foam be preliminarily filtered through the filter cloth. When there is basically no clear liquid pressed out in the feeding process, the feeding is stopped, and the compressed air is used for further pressure filtration. The filter cake after pressure filtration can be packed into a tank or bagged and transported out.
