Application of MVR Three-effect Evaporation in High-salt Wastewater of Coal Chemical Industry

The high salt content of the concentrated brine of coal chemical industry can not directly enter the biochemical system for treatment. At the same time, the high COD has corrosion and damage to the membrane, which also makes it impossible to use the regular membrane system for desalination treatment. The high COD brings difficulties to the operation of evaporation crystallization, and the traditional evaporation cost is too high, resulting in the difficult treatment of the concentrated brine of coal chemical industry.
At present, wastewater treatment and high salt separation crystallization is a major bottleneck restricting the development of new coal chemical industry. The concentrated brine of coal chemical industry comes from the concentrated water of secondary reverse osmosis of the water reuse unit, the sewage of circulating water and the reclaimed water of chemical water. The salt content of high salt water is as high as 10000~50000mg/L, mainly containing Na, K, Mn2, SO42-, Cl-, NO3-, NO2-, Ca2-, Mg2, Al3, and plasma. The concentration of Na reaches 10000~40000mg/L,SO42 -10000~20000mg/L, and Cl-reaches 10000~20000mg/L. Another characteristic of the concentrated brine of coal chemical industry is that the COD content is high, which is 500~2000mg/L.
At present, most domestic enterprises adopt the traditional evaporation crystallization method to treat high-salt wastewater, and the high-salt water is concentrated by multi-effect evaporator and sent to the evaporation pond for natural evaporation or crystallizer crystallization into solid safe landfill. Crystalline solids need to be treated as hazardous solid waste. For enterprises that produce 30000 to 50000 tons of hazardous waste per year, the disposal cost of this treatment method is about 2000 yuan/ton, accounting for more than 60% of the total cost of evaporation and crystallization, which is difficult for coal chemical enterprises to bear.
