What is the difference between MVR three-effect evaporation and multi-effect evaporator?

Most of the solutions that are evaporated in industry are aqueous solutions, so the discussion in this chapter is limited to the evaporation of aqueous solutions. In principle, the basic principles and equipment for the evaporation of aqueous solutions are also applicable to the evaporation of other liquids.
Single-effect evaporation and multi-effect evaporation: According to whether the secondary steam is used as the heating steam of another evaporator, the evaporation process can be divided into single-effect evaporation and multi-effect evaporation. If the secondary steam of the previous effect is directly condensed and no longer used, it is called single-effect evaporation. If the secondary steam is introduced to the next evaporator as heating steam, multiple evaporators are connected in series to make the heating steam used for many times. The evaporation process is called multi-effect evaporation.
