Discussion on Treatment Process of Alkylation Waste Acid

At present, most of the domestic alkylation waste acid is treated by high temperature incineration, whether it is dry acid technology or wet acid technology, the conversion rate is higher, the production of sulfur dioxide tail gas emissions can meet the national emission standards, stable operation; but there are widespread problems such as serious boiler fire tube blockage and difficult cleaning. The waste heat boiler after the incinerator is one of the most important equipment of the whole plant. In order to ensure the stable operation of the boiler system, it is necessary to carry out on-line ash cleaning in time. If the ash is serious, it will lead to equipment corrosion or boiler tube explosion.
In view of this problem, to solve the actual operation of the boiler fire tube blockage problem mainly has the following three methods:
1. Improve the atomization effect of waste acid spray gun and accelerate the cracking of waste acid.
2. Before the waste acid treatment, a first-stage filtration is added to filter out excess impurities. The content of iron ions and sodium ions in the waste acid exceeds the design index, and the device is not equipped with treatment facilities for iron ions and titanium ions, which poses a great potential safety hazard. It is recommended to add a filter before the incineration system to conduct preliminary treatment of waste acid to reduce the metal ions entering the incineration system, reduce the production of metal polymers from the source, and prevent fouling from blocking the boiler.
3. Process measures are adjusted to increase the incinerator temperature and appropriately increase the rich oxygen concentration at the incinerator outlet to ensure complete cracking of waste acid.
