China's sulphuric acid exports climb to annual high in August

In August 2023, China's export volume of sulfuric acid was 219400 tons, the cumulative export volume was 1.4681 million tons, the export amount of that month was 2.4 million US dollars, the cumulative export amount was 21.1969 million US dollars, the average export price of that month was 10.94 US dollars/ton, the cumulative average export price was 14.44 US dollars/ton, the export volume increased by 0.98 month on month, the export volume decreased by 20.22 year on year, and the cumulative export volume decreased by 49.06 compared with the same period last year.
In August 2023, China's import volume of sulfuric acid in the current month was 21800 tons, the cumulative import volume was 235800 tons, the import amount in the current month was 870400 US dollars, the cumulative import amount was 11.3224 million US dollars, the average import price in the current month was 39.85 US dollars/ton, and the cumulative average import price was 48.02 US dollars/ton. The import volume decreased by 43.56 month on month, increased by 59.98 year on year, and increased by 19.84 over the same period last year.
In August, Jiangsu Province ranked first in the registered place of China's sulfuric acid export. Jiangsu Shuangshi, an export representative enterprise, exported 66700 tons, accounting for 30.40 percent of the country's export volume. The export volume dropped 42.05 percent from the previous month. In August, the average export price of Jiangsu Province was 28.71 USD/ton, of which 30300 tons were exported to Morocco and the average offshore export price was 5 USD/ton. 28400 tons were exported to Chile with an average offshore export price of US $60/ton, which was the long order in the early stage of implementation. Another 8000 tons were shipped to Thailand with an average offshore export price of US $5/ton. The second place is Guangxi. The export representative enterprise Guangxi Jinchuan has an export volume of 61900 tons, accounting for 28.21 percent of the national export volume. The export volume rose 294.27 percent from the previous month. In August, the average export price of Guangxi was US $2/ton, of which 33000 tons were exported to Saudi Arabia, and the average offshore export price was US $2/ton; another 28900 tons were exported to Indonesia, and the average export price was also US $2/ton. The third largest was Shanghai, with exports of 53600 tons, up 178.74 percent from last week, selling resources for traders. 24600 tons were exported to Saudi Arabia with an average export price of US $1/ton; 18300 tons were exported to Indonesia with an average offshore export price of US $1.04/ton; 10700 tons were exported to Thailand with an average export price of US $2.65/ton. Fujian Province, ranked fourth, exported 36300 tons in August, down 44.60 percent from the previous month. The average export price in August was 0.31 US dollars/ton, of which 18600 tons were exported to India, with an average export price of 0.1 US dollars/ton. 10500 tons are exported to Vietnam with an average export price of 5700 tons. 7000 tons are exported to Indonesia with an average export price of 0.48 US dollars/ton.
