Brief Situation of Chemical Fertilizer and Sulfuric Acid Industry in Anhui Province

2022In 2003, the physical quantity of chemical fertilizer in Anhui Province exceeded 12 million tons, including 1.23 million tons of ammonium phosphate, 3.13 million tons of compound fertilizer, 4 million tons of synthetic ammonia, 3.25 million tons of urea, 397000 tons of ammonium bicarbonate, 868000 tons of ammonium chloride, and some new functional fertilizers such as ammonium sulfate, organic fertilizer and biological fertilizer. 7.5 million tons of sulfuric acid (including smelting gas for acid production), 2.19 million tons of sulfur phosphate rock, 3.51 million tons of phosphogypsum and 2.36 million tons of phosphoric acid.
There are 12 sulphuric acid enterprises in Anhui Province, including pyrite sulphuric acid (Huaxing Chemical, Huilong Zhongcheng, Si Erte Fertilizer, Suzhou Zhongyuan, etc.); Sulfur sulphuric acid (Jinhe Chemical, Waltai Chemical, Si Erte Fertilizer); Smelting gas sulphuric acid is mainly concentrated in Tongling Nonferrous Metals Company and its subordinate related companies.
