In October 2023, China imported 38100 tons of sulfuric acid, an increase of 16.16 percent year-on-year and 69.33 percent month-on-month; in January-October 2023, the cumulative import of sulfuric acid was 296400 tons, an increase of 19.28 percent over the same period last year, an increase of about 47900 tons. Among them, the import regions of sulfur acid in October were South Korea and Taiwan, accounting for 98% and 2% respectively.
In October 2023, China's sulfuric acid exports were 260500 tons, up 40.96 percent from the same period last year and 69.49 percent from the previous month. From January to October 2023, the cumulative export volume was 1.8825 million tons, down 42.54 percent from the same period last year, and the export volume decreased by about 1.3938 million tons. Among them, the main export countries of sulfur acid in October are Chile, Morocco and India, accounting for 32%, 29% and 24% respectively.
