Hubei Yihua Proposed 1.2 million Tons/Year Sulfuric Acid Project

Hubei Yihua announced on the evening of August 10 that Hubei Yihua Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary, plans to invest in the construction of 200000 tons/year refined phosphoric acid, 650000 tons/year ammonium phosphate relocation and supporting equipment upgrading projects, with a total investment of about 5.2 billion yuan.
The announcement stated that in response to the national Yangtze River protection policy, the holding subsidiary Hubei Yihua Fertilizer Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yihua Fertilizer Industry") must complete the relocation before the end of 2025. At the same time, the company in Yichang Yaojiagang Chemical Park is building an annual output of 550000 tons of ammonia alcohol project and Bang Puyi integrated battery materials supporting chemical raw materials project, the production of synthetic ammonia, extraction acid needs large-scale ammonium phosphate device supporting the elimination. As the new production capacity of ammonium phosphate is strictly controlled, the company makes full use of the stock index of 660000 tons of diammonium phosphate in Yihua fertilizer industry, relocates its main production equipment to Yichang Yaojiagang Chemical Park, uses wet-process phosphoric acid as the basic raw material, produces high-end phosphorus chemical products, promotes the structural adjustment of the company's chemical fertilizer products, and realizes the upgrading of the company's phosphorus chemical industry, quality improvement and efficiency.
The project is located in Yichang Yaojiagang Chemical Park and is scheduled to be put into operation before the end of June 2025. The main construction of 2.2 million tons/year mineral processing plant, 2 × 600000 tons/year sulfur-based sulphuric acid plant, 400000 tons/year wet phosphoric acid plant, 200000 tons/year refined phosphoric acid plant, 300000 tons/year diammonium phosphate plant, 300000 tons/year powdered monoammonium phosphate plant, 100000 tons/year amino acid compound fertilizer plant, 200000 tons/year sulfur-based compound fertilizer plant, 100000 tons/year flame retardant high-grade plant, 50000 tons/year industrial monoammonium phosphate plant.
