This standard specifies the emission limits, monitoring and monitoring requirements of water and air pollutants in sulfuric acid industrial enterprises or production facilities, as well as the implementation and supervision of the standard. This standard applies to the existing sulfuric acid industrial enterprises water and air pollutant emission management. This standard is applicable to the environmental impact assessment of construction projects of sulfuric acid industrial enterprises, the design of environmental protection facilities, the acceptance of completed environmental protection and the management of water and air pollutant emissions after commissioning. This standard is not applicable to the emission management of water and air pollutants from smelting tail gas acid and hydrogen sulfide acid industrial enterprises. This standard applies to the discharge of pollutants permitted by law. The site selection of newly established pollution sources and the management of existing pollution sources in special protection areas shall be in accordance with the the People's Republic of China Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law, the the People's Republic of China Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law, the the People's Republic of China Marine Environmental Protection Law, and the the People's Republic of China Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law "," the People's Republic of China Radioactive Pollution Prevention and Control Law "," the People's Republic of China Environmental Impact Assessment Law "and other laws, regulations, and rules. The water pollutant discharge control requirements specified in this standard apply to the direct or indirect discharge of water pollutants by enterprises outside their legal boundaries.
