Supply:In the first three quarters of 2023, the domestic sulfuric acid production capacity increased slightly. By the end of September, the total production capacity of the industry had increased to about 139 million tons/year, the production capacity growth rate reached 4.36, and the production capacity growth rate remained low. The new production capacity has been put into operation, and the new production capacity to be put into operation is 4.65 million tons/year.
With the release of new production capacity from October to December, the overall output is expected to show an upward trend. However, due to the maintenance plan of the main acid plants in Guangxi, Jiangxi and Anhui in the fourth quarter, the peak of the overall output in 2023 is expected to occur in December.
Demand:At present, the end of autumn fertilizer, fertilizer industry procurement enthusiasm has weakened, but local support still exists. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the demand for autumn fertilizer and winter storage fertilizer gap period weakened trend, acid price was affected by this downward expectation, the late fertilizer winter market gradually started, supporting acid price or a small rebound, but the fertilizer export situation there are uncertain factors, the trend is still unclear.
