On December 27, 2023, the National Development and Reform Commission revised and issued the "Industrial Structure Adjustment Guidance Catalog (2024 version)", which will be officially implemented on February 1, 2024. The Catalogue (2024) has a total of 1005 entries, of which 352 are encouraged, 231 are restricted and 422 are eliminated. The management classification of encouragement, restriction and elimination is still used. In terms of industry settings, the encouraged category has added items in industry categories such as "intelligent manufacturing", "agricultural machinery and equipment", "CNC machine tools", "network security" and related fields that are conducive to industrial optimization and upgrading. Items in the "fire protection" and "construction" industry categories and related fields that do not meet the requirements of green development and safe production have been added in the restricted and eliminated categories.
