Export Data of Phosphate Fertilizer in 2023

Phosphate fertilizer exports increased year-on-year in 2023. According to customs data, monoammonium phosphate: exports in December 2023 were 122300 tons, down 10.04 percent year-on-year and 44.04 percent month-on-month. In 2023, the total export volume was 2.0362 million tons, up 0.27 percent year on year. The average export price in December was $627.11/ton. The top three countries in terms of annual exports were Brazil, Argentina and Australia, with exports of 73.03, 24.30 and 224300 tons, accounting for 35.87, 11.93 and 11.02 per cent of annual exports, respectively.
Diammonium phosphate: Exports of 367200 tons in December 2023, up 45.43 percent year-on-year and down 40.36 percent month-on-month. In 2023, the total export volume was 5.0358 million tons, up 40.69 percent year on year. The average export price in December was $575.09/ton. The top three countries in terms of annual exports were India, Vietnam and Thailand, with exports of 300.24, 39.80 and 304200 tons, accounting for 59.62, 7.90 and 6.04 per cent of annual exports, respectively.
