9, Chlorosulfonic acid production technology

Description

 Chlorosulfonic acid is an extension of sulfur trioxide products, widely used in the manufacture of sulfonamides, reactive dyes, detergents, plastics, pesticides, and defense industry raw materials. At present, HCl and SO3 gas phase synthesis method is mainly adopted in China. SO3 is first prepared by roasting sulfur or pyrite, and SO3 is obtained by catalytic oxidation of SO2 (such as primary conversion of outlet furnace gas, heating and evaporation of fuming sulfuric acid to produce pure SO3, etc.);HCl comes from potassium sulfate unit of Mannheim process or hydrogen chloride gas of chlor-alkali unit, etc.

Hydrogen chloride by hydrochloric acid desorption, in the scrubber with concentrated sulfuric acid to remove water, defog, into the refining tower, temperature control in 80~90 ℃ into the synthesis tower; sulfur trioxide gas by defogging to remove water, temperature control in 90~100 ℃ into the synthesis tower, hydrogen chloride gas and sulfur trioxide gas according to the volume ratio of 1: 1.1 synthesis, reaction temperature of 95~110 ℃; the liquid-phase product produced by the synthesis is synthesized in the liquid phase by circulating the spray absorption of the gas-phase reactant in the synthetic tower, and the small droplets generated by the reaction of the gas-phase reactant are absorbed to obtain the liquid chlorosulfonic acid crude product; the liquid chlorosulfonic acid crude product enters the refined tower and further reacts with hydrogen chloride gas to obtain the finished product.
